David Kim, M.D. – Napa Ophthalmologist

Dr. David S. Kim is an ophthalmologist proudly serving the Napa, CA community with comprehensive care for glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other ocular conditions. Dr. Kim graduated from Pacific Union College in Angwin, CA, finishing a bachelor's degree in biology within three years. He went on to attend Loma Linda University, School of Medicine where he earned his medical degree and completed a rigorous ophthalmology residency. Dr. Kim is highly trained in a number of advanced laser technologies. He is eligible for certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, California Medical Association, and Napa County Medical Society.

Dr. Kim is passionate about humanitarian work and has provided assistance to underprivileged communities in Namibia, Ethiopia, and Bolivia. He plans to continue his humanitarian service in developing countries, utilizing his expertise and skills as an ophthalmologist. During his free time, Dr. Kim enjoys the company of his wife and two daughters, particularly when it involves culinary experiences. He also loves to travel and has visited the Bahamas, Mexico, Ireland, England, Spain, Belgium, France, Italy, Greece, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Australia.
