Yungtai Kung, M.D. – Napa Ophthalmologist

Dr. Yungtai “Tai” Kung is an ophthalmologist serving the Napa, CA community by treating a broad range of vision concerns and specializing in the management and surgical treatment of glaucoma. He graduated from the University of California Irvine where he majored in biological sciences and attended medical school at New York Medical College. While in medical school, Dr. Kung was honored as one of the top students in his class by induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Washington in Seattle and a fellowship in glaucoma at OHSU Casey and Legacy Devers Eye Institutes in Portland, OR. Throughout his post-graduate training, Dr. Kung has made a number of publications and presentations, but his passion lies in ensuring the best possible care for his patients.
