What are premium intraocular lenses?
Premium intraocular lenses (IOLs) are lenses inserted to replace the eye's natural, clouded lens during cataract surgery. Premium IOLs can also treat other vision concerns, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia. At Precision Surgery Center of Napa Valley, we offer multiple biocompatible premium IOLs to suit your vision needs following lens replacement surgery. During your consultation for cataract surgery, we will select the best lens for your needs. For more information about our available lenses, contact our practice in Napa, CA to speak to an ophthalmologist.
What to expect with Intraocular Lenses
During your pre-op appointments for your cataract surgery, our board-certified ophthalmologists will discuss your different options for eye lens replacement. Our practice carries many FDA-approved lenses that fit a wide variety of vision needs, whether your goal is to have better distance vision, near vision, night vision, or to correct astigmatism. Premium IOLs can reduce a patient's dependence on glasses or contacts following cataract surgery so many patients can expect to have clear vision without corrective lenses.

"I have visited Dr. Mehtani on numerous occasions. His demeanor and caring for the individual is outstanding. Dr. Mehtani fully explains the visit and what his recommended method of treatment will be. I strongly endorse Dr. Mehtani for anyone who is considering an opthalmologist in the Napa Valley community."- D.A. / Healthgrades / Jul 11, 2020
"Alert to causes of eye condition - Dr. Rowe noted that my dry eye/inflammation was more than normally seen or just due to aging. He suspected an autoimmune condition and blood work confirmed that. I was able to get a lot of answer to other physical conditions I was having once that link was made. I had seen 2 other opthalmologist just prior to seeing him and they did not make that connection. His bedside manner is rather bland, but he is knowledgeable and makes appropriate referrals."- Anonymous / Vitals / Jul 19, 2019
"Dr Bosetti preformed Cataract surgery on both my eyes recently. I am a retired architect and my vision became cloudy to the point I had trouble driving at night because of the glare and was easily blinded by contrasting bright sunlight and deep shadow. Dr Bosetti diagnosed cataracts in both eyes and recommended lens transplants. He was thorough in testing, clearly answered all questions. The surgery was a overwhelming success. I highly recommend him . "- Anonymous / Healthgrades / Mar 22, 2019
